A woman who went missing a day after giving birth has been arrested in south-east Queensland over drug charges.
Police said Alexandra Orr, 26, of Riverview, was arrested about 10am (AEST) today at Ipswich, west of Brisbane on an outstanding warrant relating to drug charges.
She is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Thursday.
There were concerns for the health of Ms Orr after she gave birth to a boy around 1.20am (AEST) on Saturday at Logan Hospital then prematurely left on Sunday evening with her child.
The boy was presented to Ipswich Hospital, west of Brisbane, about 9pm (AEST) last night by a family member, police said today.
A police spokeswoman said Ms Orr was located and returned to Ipswich Hospital to be examined following the baby's birth.
A hospital spokeswoman said the mother and baby were in good condition.
